SHAWNEE – It's Homecoming on Bison Hill this week and fall sports are starting to wrap up. Here's what's coming up on Bison Hill.
Â
Monday: Men's Golf heads to the penultimate tournament of their fall season when they head to Duncan for The Territory Classic hosted by Cameron at The Territory Golf Club. It's the first time OBU's competed at the tournament in the Division II era.
Â
Tuesday: Men's Golf plays a final 18 holes at The Territory Classic.
Men's Soccer plays their final Great American Conference contest when they host Southern Nazarene at 7:30 p.m. for Senior Night. The Bison set a GAC scoring record in an 8-0 rout of their rivals from Bethany on the road earlier this year.
Â
Wednesday: Women's Soccer heads to Alva looking to put the finishing touches on the program's first GAC regular season title when they take on Northwestern Oklahoma State at 6 p.m. A win assures the Lady Bison win the title outright, while a tie would ensure that OBU gets at least a share of the title.
Â
Thursday: Volleyball heads to Ada to square off with East Central at 7 p.m. The Lady Bison swept ECU behind 14 kills by Mikayla Watson in the Noble Complex earlier this year.
Men's Soccer concludes their regular season in Tahlequah when they face Northeastern State at 7:30 p.m. The Bison will be looking to avenge a loss suffered at home to the RiverHawks last month.
Â
Saturday: Men's and
Women's Swimming and Diving make the short trip to Edmond for the Halloween Invitational. The meet is set to begin at 8:30 a.m.
Women's Soccer takes on Southwestern Oklahoma State in Weatherford at 1 p.m. in the squad's final league match of the year. Oklahoma Baptist and SWOSU tied, 3-3, at the OBU Soccer Complex earlier this year.
Football takes on SWOSU at 2 p.m. in the team's final home match this season. The Bison will be looking for a little magic of their own after falling on a Hail Mary from the Bulldogs last year in Weatherford.
Volleyball takes on Fort Hays State and Washburn at 3 and 5 p.m. in Topeka, Kansas. The Lady Bison fell to Fort Hays State earlier this year, but dropped then-No. 14 ranked Washburn in a five-set thriller in Shawnee last year.
