OBU Puts 45 on GAC Academic Team

SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist placed 45 student-athletes on the Great American Conference's Fall Academic All-Conference teams.
 
The award requires a cumulative 3.30 grade point average and sophomore or higher academic and athletic standing.
 
Making the list from football are Bo Bradshaw, John Calhoun, Seth Glasscock, Mack Jensen, Brynden Pitzer, Joshua Redmond, Nathan Sosa, Trey Tully, Houston Tyler and Gage Wimer.
 
Representing men's cross country was Grant Alexander, Nathan Crowson and Blaine Whitson
 
From men's soccer, Vicente Castillo, Alejandro Cordero, Martin Romero, Sam Smith, Andrew Thomsen, Jacob Tunney and Alec Young made the team.
 
Making the list from women's cross country are Emily Banks, Lauren Franz, Dani Ingle, Victoria Joslin, Kaylee Large, Sydney Lawrence, Miranda Nolen, Emily Sechrist, Samantha Sweeney and Zonya Timoshenko.
 
Volleyball player Nicole Fleitman and Katrina Horner made the list.
 
Brenda Barnett, Emma Beck, Kenzi Bice, Anna Brewster, Kerregan Edwards, Sam Engles, Jennifer Goethe, Ashleigh Gruns, Abigail Hicks, Kelsey Lowe, Kierra Mattingly and Markella Suka made the list from women's soccer.
