EDMOND, Okla. – Following a tough second round, Oklahoma Baptist bounced back Tuesday to finish third at the NCCAA Men's Golf Central Regional.

The Bison shot 298 in the final round to finish at 908 for the tournament, edging Central Baptist by one stroke.

Kyle Perdew shot 73 to finish at nine-over 221. He won a scorecard playoff with Chase Brincat of Dallas Baptist to take fourth place at the regional.

Lucas Coapman and
Luke Garner tied for 10th place after each shooting 227. Garner shot 71 for the low round of the tournament for OBU, while Coapman finished in 75.

Hudson Hoover and
Mason Nutt each shot 79 in the final round. Hoover had a 236 total for 20th place, and Nutt took 23rd at 221.

DBU took the men's team title with a score of 883 (298, 294, 291) for a sweep of the regional championships. Central Baptist's Austin Harmon set a new course record at 65 Tuesday on his way to individual medalist honors.

The Bison Fall Invitational is next on the schedule for OBU on Sept. 26-27 at the Shawnee Country Club in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
