Bison to Host NCCAA Regional

OBU Men's Golf at NCCAA Regional Monday, Sept. 19 – Tuesday, Sept. 20 Hosted by OBU at The Golf Club of Edmond Tournament Notes

SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist men's golf will host the NCCAA Men's Golf Regional Monday and Tuesday at the Golf Club of Edmond.
 
The Bison are coming off a runner-up finish at the Great American Conference, where freshman Lucas Coapman took individual medalist honors after a finish at eight-under par.
 
OBU looks to compete against other top teams in the NCCAA Central Region at the par 70, 6574-yard layout in Edmond, Oklahoma.
 
Senior Kyle Perdew finished T19 at the 2015 regional, and will look to once again have a strong outing to help propel the Bison to a top-five finish. Hudson Hoover will make his second appearance at the tournament as well, coming off a solid performance at the GAC Preview.
 
Other Bison expected to compete are freshman Mason Nutt, sophomore Shane Black, junior college transfer Luke Garner, senior Tanner Oxford, and freshman Ryan Epperly.
 
The tournament will be a 54-hole event, with 36 holes played Monday and a final round on Tuesday.
