SHAWNEE – Season ticket packages for the 2016 Oklahoma Baptist football campaign are now on sale. The Bison will host six home games at Crain Family Stadium at the Hurt Complex.
Season ticket prices remain unchanged from 2015, despite the addition of a sixth home game on the 2016 slate.
Premium season tickets are available in the reserved chairback (Sec. 2) and reserved bench seating (Sec. 1 and 3) sections with a minimum per seat contribution to the Stampede, the annual fund supporting OBU Athletics.
Additional benefits available to Stampede members can include priority parking and access to the Touchdown Club hospitality tent. Gifts to the Stampede are also 80 percent tax deductible as allowed by the IRS.
The Bison host Arkansas Tech in their home opener on Sept. 10, followed by a match up with Southeastern Oklahoma State on Sept. 17. After back-to-back road games, OBU will face Southern Arkansas and Northwestern Oklahoma State on Oct. 8 and Oct. 15, respectively.
The Bison close the season with consecutive home tilts against Ouachita on Nov. 5 and the Homecoming Game versus Southern Nazarene on Nov. 12.
Fans interested in purchasing Bison football season tickets should contact the OBU Athletics Department at 405.585.5300 or via email at
tickets@okbu.edu. Additional season ticket information can be found online at
obubison.com/tickets. Single game tickets will go on sale in August.
The 2016 campaign marks the second for Coach
Chris Jensen's Bison as members of the Great American Conference and NCAA Division II, and the fourth for the program since it's re-establishment on Bison Hill in 2013. The NCAA Membership Committee recently recommended OBU for advancement to the third and final year of the candidacy process for full membership in the NCAA and GAC.
