Sarah O'Bryan is a senior track and cross country medalist from St. Paul High School (Kansas) where she has competed under coaches Marcia Gard and Doug Tuck.

She is a four-time State Cross Country qualifier, medaling her sophomore and junior seasons and helping St. Paul to a third place finish as a junior and a fourth place finish as a senior.

O'Bryan medaled in the 3200 last spring and has qualified in that event all three years and the 1600 the past two seasons at the State Meet. Her personal bests are 21:26 in the five-kilometer cross country, 5:48 in the 1600 and 12:24 in the 3200.

The daughter of David and Jane O'Bryan, Sarah also is a member of the National Honor Society and carries a 4.0 grade point average.

"OBU has excellent, Christ-centered academics and a high quality women's distance running program," O'Bryan said.
