Lady Bison Repeat as Runner-Up

CLINTON, Miss. – Oklahoma Baptist repeated as NCCAA Women's Cross Country National Championship Meet runner-up Saturday at Choctaw Trails.
 
Dallas Baptist won the team title with a score of 28, followed by OBU at 73 and Cedarville with 94 points in the 14-team championship field.
 
Emily Sechrist and Sydney Lawrence claimed All-America honors. Sechrist placed fourth in 18:09.36 and Lawrence was fifth at 18:21.03.
 
Kandace Standridge took 19^th at 19:08.77, Tesa Potter was 20^th in 19:13.77 and Megan Allen rounded out the scoring in 28^th at 19:37.50.
 
Daisy VanMeter was 30^th at 19:43.21 and Zoya Timoshenko placed 42^nd in 20:02.39.
 
All seven of OBU's runners from Saturday return next season for what is expected to be the university's first season of NCAA postseason eligibility.
