Coming Up on Bison Hill (Oct. 24-30)


SHAWNEE – Between national championships and conference match-ups, Bison athletes hit the road for the majority of this week on Bison Hill.
 
MONDAY:
Men and Women's Golf heads to Panama City, Florida, to compete in the National Christian College Athletics Association Championships. Competition includes familiar faces Mid-America Christian, Dallas Baptist and Central Baptist.
 
TUESDAY:
Golf continues their run for gold in Florida.
 
Men's Soccer visits I-40 rival Southern Nazarene at 7 p.m. in Bethany, Oklahoma. The Bison defeated the Crimson Storm earlier this month, 4-0, in Shawnee.
 
WEDNESDAY:
Golf finishes up at the NCCAA Championships.
 
THURSDAY:
Women's Soccer takes on Southwestern Oklahoma State at 6 p.m. at the OBU Soccer Complex. The Lady Bison fell, 3-2, to the Bulldogs in extra time following goals by Jennifer Goethe and Ruth King earlier this season.
 
Volleyball returns to the Noble Complex to face East Central at 7 p.m. The Tigers upended OBU during their previous match in Ada, Oklahoma.
 
FRIDAY:
Men's and Women's Swimming heads to Conway, Arkansas, to compete in the Hendrix College Relays.
 
SATURDAY:
Swimming continues their competition in the Hendrix Relays.
 
Football travels to Arkadelphia, Arkansas, to meet No. 15 Henderson State at 2 p.m. The Reddies are coming off of a 50-24 loss to Southern Arkansas on Saturday, as the Bison fell in a heartbreaker to SWOSU Thursday night.
 
Volleyball will take on Northwestern Oklahoma State in Alva, Oklahoma, at 2 p.m. The Lady Bison swept the Rangers in straight sets in September.
 
Women's Soccer also competes against NWOSU as the Rangers visit the OBU Soccer Complex at 5 p.m. as the first game in a Bison doubleheader. Oklahoma Baptist defeated the Rangers, 3-1, during their bout in Alva.
 
Men's Soccer will butt heads with non-conference foe, University of Mary, at 7 p.m. in Shawnee. It will be the first time in program history for the two sides to meet on the pitch.
