Women 4th, Men 19th at Southern Stampede

WOMEN'S RESULTS  MEN'S RESULTS
Oklahoma Baptist placed fourth in the women's race and 19^th in the men's at the Southern Stampede Saturday in Joplin.

The Lady Bison were just off second place, finishing one point behind Dallas Baptist and two points back of 25^th-ranked Southwest Baptist.

California-San Diego won the race with 56 points.

Great American Conference Schools in the race were East Central in 12^th, Southern Arkansas in 15^th and Southwestern Oklahoma State in 20^th.

Abby Hoover finished fifth to lead the Lady Bison, coming in at 17:23.68 on the five kilometer course.

Miranda Dent was 113^th at 17:53.20, Emily Sechrist was 31^st at 18:32.98, Sydney Lawrence was 32^nd at 18:34 and Kaylee Large rounded out the scoring in 35^th at 18:37.68.

Madison Newton was 37^th at 18:40.45, followed by Katelyn Fritz in 42^nd at 18:48.20.

Also for the Lady Bison, Kelsey Doty was 71^st at 19:15.65, Victoria Joslin was 127^th at 20:06.72 and Zoya Timosenko was 172^nd at 20:53.52.

The Bison finished 19^th with 556 points in the men's race. East Central won the event with 121 points. Also from the GAC, harding was fourth and Southern Arkansas was 16^th.

Jacob Janzen led the Bison in 74^th place at 26:05.89 in the eight-kilometer race.

Ayoub Akil was 111^th at 26:34, followed by Jordan Masterson in 148^th at 27:10.27, Blaine Whitson in 158^th at 27:20.74 and Nathan Crowson in 192^nd in 27:55.48 to round out the scoring.

Tommy Uglean was 199^th at 28:01.19. Zach Polley was 209^th at 28:15.59 and Zach Widener was 233^rd at 29:05.05.
