NORMAN -- Oklahoma Baptist competed in several events on Saturday at OU's O Ring Alumni Open.
Most notably,
Nathan Keiffer earned a personal-best time in the 200-meter dash (22.02) while
Wyatt Willoughby PR'd in the discus. He took fifth place with a throw of 49.40 meters.
OBU also got another fifth-place finish in the hammer throw from
Matthew Werschem. His effort reached 52.55m.
After that,
Nathan Goodson and
Jaxen Wilson each earned eighth place in the high jump and long jump events, respectively. Goodson reached 1.91m while Wilson jumped 6.46m. Lastly, Keiffer earned 14th place in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.94.
Next on the schedule for the Bison men is the Great American Conference Outdoor Championship beginning April 29 at Harding University.
