RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Oklahoma Baptist junior
Dwayne Fleming earned his third Great American Conference Track Athlete of the Week award on Monday.
This latest honor comes after the Antigua and Barbuda native had a couple fantastic finishes at the Emporia State Relays.
On April 16, Fleming earned runner-up accolades in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.11. That was the second-best time in the country and was four-hundredths of a second away from the OBU outdoor record.
Then, in the 4x400 relay, he ran a leg on a second-place effort of 3:08.73. That's the fourth-best time in Division II.
This season, Fleming has been posted three, top-two finishes in the 100 while adding a trio of top-three finishes in the 4x400 relay.
