AZUSA, Ca. – Damien Williams broke a 36-year old Oklahoma Baptist outdoor record on Friday evening during the Bryan Clay Invitational.
Competing in the 5,000, he crossed the finish line in 14:12.95. That bested a 1990 performance by Peter Schouw who posted a mark of 14:21.9.
On top of that effort,
Korban Murphy dialed up an NCAA provisional mark for the Bison. During the 800-meter open run A, he earned a time 1:49.37. That currently stands as the No. 10 performance in Division II.
