Fleming Named GAC Track Athlete of the Week

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference voted Dwayne Fleming as its Track Athlete of the Week on Tuesday.

It's his first career honor.

Over the weekend at the University of New Mexico Team Open Meet, Fleming, a native of Antigua and Barbuda, took runner-up honors in the 200-meter dash. He finished the race with an NCAA qualifying time of 21.06. That time was also the third-best performance in Division II this season.

Plus, Fleming ran a leg in the 4x400 and helped that group cross the finish line with another provisional mark of 3:11.51.
