Football Heads to Arkansas-Monticello on Saturday

SHAWNEE – After almost rallying from a 20-point deficit against Ouachita Baptist last week, Oklahoma Baptist football heads to the Arkansas as it squares off with Great American Conference foe Arkansas-Monticello at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10 at Willis "Convoy" Leslie Cotton Boll Stadium.

The Bison (2-3, 2-3 GAC) are coming off a 35-21 defeat to Ouachita, while the Boll Weevils (1-4, 1-4) fell on the road to Southern Nazarene last Saturday. Todd Miller, Clayton Coffman, and Ryan Bower will call all the action on KGFF 100.9FM/1450AM (audio) beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. TOP STORYLINES

  • Oklahoma Baptist returns to the road for the first time since defeating NW Oklahoma State 55-37 on Sept. 19. The Bison are 1-1 away from Shawnee this season, earning a victory at NW Oklahoma State after falling at Henderson State.
  • Oklahoma Baptist enters Saturday at 2-3 overall and in Great American Conference play. The Bison are looking to end a two-game losing streak following home losses to SW Oklahoma State and Ouachita.
  • Arkansas-Monticello enters at 1-4 following a 40-34 overtime loss at Southern Nazarene. UAM's lone victory came in its 30-27 home victory against Arkansas Tech.
