Isaiah Willis and
Maxamillian Wheeler snag both GAC weekly awards for men's track and field.
OBU Men's Track and Field steal not one but both conference awards for the previous weekend performances.
The Bison made their way to the Lone Star State for the Charlie Thomas Invitational in College Station, Texas hosted by Texas A&M. The green and gold participated in the weekend's action against several Division I opponents.
Isaiah Willis received the GAC Field Athlete of the Week award after securing another provisional long jump mark with a leap of 7.30m (23-11.5), placing Willis in eighth place.
Willis was also a member of the 4x400 relay team that was the lone Division II group to make finals.
Maxamillian Wheeler claimed the GAC Track Athlete of the Week award after claiming 11
th place in the one mile. Wheeler recorded a 4:12.50 finish.
Willis and Wheeler's performances earned both GAC Men's T&F awards for the week
