Bison Cross Country Set for GAC Championships

SHAWNEE – The Oklahoma Baptist men's and women's cross country teams are competing in the Great American Conference Championships on Oct. 25 on the campus of Arkansas-Monticello.

The women's race starts at 8:30 a.m. followed by the men's at 9:30 a.m. For OBU, its men are looking for their first GAC title since the fall of 2019 while the women are looking to raise the trophy for the first time since 2021.

Following the conclusion of both races, awards will be announced. The All-GAC First Team consists of the top-10 runners from each gender while Second Team honors go from 11th to 20th place. Freshman of the Year honors are awarded to the top finishing first-year while Runner and Coach of the Year honors are voted on by coaches after the meet.
