RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – For the third time in his career and second time this year, Oklahoma Baptist's
Troy Shields was named Great American Conference Player of the Week.
Over the weekend versus Ouachita, Shields put together one of the most impressive series performances this season for the Bison. He had multiple hits in every game, including five in the opener, and finished with 10 knocks in 12 at-bats, an .833 batting average.
