SHAWNEE – The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) named Oklahoma Baptist outfielder
Tui Amosa to its All-Central Region team on Friday.
Amosa earned second-team honors.
During the 46-game season, Amosa led OBU with a .407 batting average, 20 doubles, a .728 slugging percentage and seven sacrifice flies. By season's end, Amosa posted seven top-10 statistical rankings within the Great American Conference.
His 20 two-baggers and seven sac flies were also top-25 NCAA totals. Plus, Amosa registered a 16-game hitting streak during the year and produced seven different games with three base hits.
