EDMOND, Okla. – Oklahoma Baptist shot 39-over-par in the final round of Southern Nazarene's Diffee Ford Lincoln Invitational on Tuesday at the Kickingbird Golf Club.
The Bison finished fifth of 14 squads, firing 65 strokes over par after rounds of 306 and 319. Oklahoma Baptist recorded 11 birdies, a tie of the third-most in the tournament.
Gimena Errecart paced the OBU lineup in a tie for 13th, following a final round 5-over 75. Errecart jumped 11 spots on the leaderboard after shooting a 78 (+8) on Monday. Her last go-around featured four birdies, a team-best, and the squad's lowest score on the back nine (+2).
Morgan Becker trailed at T-16th after shooting 14-over-par for the event. Becker fired a 2-over 72 before finishing with an 82 (+12) today and sunk three birdies in the tournament.
Josefina Serres Scheffer opened Monday with a 5-over 75, featuring a tie of OBU's best card on the front nine (+2), before wrapping up play with an 83 (+13) that placed T-24th.
Morgan Simmons and Sam Lehr finished a stroke of one another with cards of 162 (+22) and 163 (+23). The duo finished tied at 39th and 45th, respectively.
Simmons trimmed her opening round by three strokes and climbed six spots en route to a 10-over 80, while Lehr charted an 82 (+12) on her final 18.
Rylie Spaulding and Valentina Nunez Butzonitch turned in an 84 (+14) and 85 (+15) in round two to claim T-55th and T-61st. Kloee Nichols concluded the Bison's participants in 77th with a 108 (+38) in today's action.

Oklahoma Baptist will return to play on Sunday, March 10, for round one of the Emerald Coast Collegiate Classic in Miramar Beach, Fla. The tournament will run until Tuesday, March 12.
