MANHATTAN, Kan. – Oklahoma Baptist competed at Kansas State's Steve Miller Invitational over the weekend, the last regular-season indoor meet on the schedule before the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships on March 8.
Trey Bartholomew paced OBU in the high jump with an NCAA DII Provisional clearance of 2.05m (6-8.75). Also placing top-five (5) in the event was Steven Schmidt's leap of 1.95m (6-4.75).
Marcus Petersen ran a season-best 48.53 in the 400m, ahead of teammate Emmett Murphy's 49.36 that placed eighth.
Wrapping up the notables was OBU's 4x400 relay team of Sean Dixon, Isaiah Willis, Petersen, and Murphy. The quartet ran a season-best 3:14.22, the 32nd fastest time in the country.
