PUEBLO, Colo. – Oklahoma Baptist's
Anisha Henderson,
Matthew Higdon and
Mary McKey took part in three events on Thursday at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Colorado State University Pueblo.
Henderson was OBU's first participant as she competed in the long jump. The sophomore from Plano, Texas notched a 14th-place mark with her best jump coming at 5.91m (19-4.75).
The Bison's lone throws event on this day came via Higdon. In the hammer throw, the senior heaved a distance of 59.28m (194-6).
OBU's efforts were capped off at night by McKey, who took part in the 400-meter hurdles first round. She crossed the finish line in 1:01.43 which was good for 12th place.

Flora Dupans and sophomore
Jade Byrd will compete in the discus at 3 p.m. while
Alexander Schovanec will go in the same event at 6.
