OBU Announces New Ticket Policy for Baseball, Softball

SHAWNEE – Beginning this spring, baseball and softball games at Oklahoma Baptist University will be ticketed events.
 
Through its partnership with Glitnir Ticketing, OBU Athletics has transitioned all ticket sales to its online platform. Fans attending Bison baseball and softball contests can purchase tickets ahead of time at OBUBison.com/Tickets, or scan the QR codes at Bobby Cox Field at Ford Park and the Bison Softball Park.
 
All seating at both venues will be general admission. Ticket price will be $5 and will be valid for admission to all events scheduled for that day (including both games of a doubleheader).
 
OBU students, as well as faculty and staff, will receive free admission with their OBU ID. As with other ticketed events, Bison baseball and softball players can assign complimentary tickets to family and friends prior to each contest.
 
Picked second in the Great American Conference preseason coaches poll, the OBU baseball team opens its 2022 home season on Friday, Feb. 25, with a three-game series against Ouachita.
 
After a daunting early season schedule that includes 21 straight contests away from Shawnee, the Bison softball team finally makes its home debut March 11-12 against East Central.
