SHAWNEE – The Oklahoma Baptist tennis teams dropped their conference matches to Harding on Saturday afternoon by the score of 7-0.
On the men's side,
Christian Siegle and
Aaron Brewer took a 6-4 victory at No. 2 doubles, but OBU dropped the point to fall behind early on.
Brewer put together a tremendous effort at No. 1 singles, but fell in three sets, 6-4, 2-6, 7-6 (2).
Rhett Rollins also fought tough at No. 3 singles, but also fell in three sets, 7-6 (2), 3-6, 6-2.
On the women's side,
Lin Xin Tan and
Jenna Noel earned a win at No. 1 doubles, 6-4, but the Bison dropped the doubles point. Tan and Noel battled at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, respectively, but fell in straight sets.
The Bison will be back in action on Tuesday as the men will welcome in John Brown while the women will battle Central Oklahoma.
