Bison Fall to Northeastern State in Tahlequah

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – The Oklahoma Baptist women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 contest to Northeastern State on Tuesday afternoon.

The Bison picked up a win at No. 2 doubles behind the team of Jenna Noel and Gabrielly Lamas, 7-5, but couldn't claim the doubles point as NSU took courts one and three to take a 1-0 lead.

Lin Xin Tan would earn a 6-3, 6-4 victory at No. 1 singles, while Noel earned her second win of the day, taking a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 2 singles. However, the Bison could not make up any more ground as the Riverhawks pulled away to take the win.

The Bison prepare for a slew of contests this weekend beginning on Friday morning as they take on Metro State and Midwestern State in Wichita Falls, Texas.
