GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced its 2020-21 All-Academic class and 18 Bison were selected for the honor. Earning first team accolades were senior swimmer

Luke Miao, and
Tristan Villa of the men's team were selected to the all-academic honor roll. On the women's side,
Laura Cifuentes,
Julie Day,
Summer Dietz,
Jamie Edwards,
Rosa Escalante,
Anna Kathleen Harris,
Chase Kirby,
Kaelyn Lance,
Brooke Newby,
Catherine Oakley, and
Mikaela Pitsch were named to the honor roll.
To be eligible for the honor, athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher and have completed two full consecutive semesters at their current school.
Newman, a native of San Manuel, Arizona, is a biochemistry major and has a 4.0 GPA. He also was honored with the RMAC Summit Award at the 2021 RMAC Swimming and Diving Championships.
Wright, a native of Lee's Summit, Missouri, is a nursing major and holds a 3.87 GPA. She won both the one- and three-meter dive at the 2021 RMAC Swimming and Diving Championships. She also has made the NCAA Division II Diving Championship qualifying round all four years while at OBU.
