SHAWNEE – The Oklahoma Baptist women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to visiting Missouri Western Saturday morning at the OBU tennis courts.
The tandem of
Gabrielly Lamas and
Vera Anagrova dropped a closely contested match, 7-6, to the Griffons' Claudia Iglesias and Ariella Curci as MWSU claimed the doubles point.
At No. 1 singles, OBU's
Jenna Noel pushed Ioanna Lathouri to a decisive third set before falling 3-6, 7-6, 7-10.
The Griffons won the remaining singles points in straight sets.
The Bison men's and women's tennis teams will return to the court on Tuesday, March 23, to take on Dallas Baptist at 2 p.m. in Durant, Oklahoma.
