– On Tuesday, the Great American Conference announced the results of its 2021 women's soccer preseason poll. Oklahoma Baptist finished as the favorite following a vote of the league's head coaches.

The Bison come off a season where they made it to the GAC championship game. OBU went 11-7-2.

OBU received 31 total votes and three first place votes as head coach Michael White begins his 11
th season at the helm of the program.

Southwestern Oklahoma State came in second in the poll with 30 total votes and two first place votes. Ouachita Baptist (28) came in third with the final two first place votes, Harding (25), East Central (14), Northwestern Oklahoma State (10), and Southern Nazarene (9) rounded out the rest of the poll.

OBU returns 16 players from the 2019 team.
The Bison will open up their conference only regular season at Harding on Saturday, Feb. 20.
