White, Bison Unveil 2026 Season Schedule

SHAWNEE – A 17-match slate is scheduled for the Oklahoma Baptist women's soccer team in a couple of months. The 2026 season features 10 home matches as well as seven on the road.

"We will have a lot of new faces on the team, including freshmen, transfers and international players," Head Coach Mike White said.

"These girls will bring a lot of experience to our team and a lot of different perspectives. We will need to come together, which I have no doubt we will do. Our goal, as always ,will be another national tournament experience."

The season starts with four straight home matches. On Aug. 27, Midwestern State University, an NCAA Tournament qualifier in 2025, comes to Shawnee before a Sept. 2 contest with UT Dallas. After that, Central Oklahoma (Sept. 4) and Newman (Sept. 9) will pay visits to the OBU Soccer Complex.

OBU's next four matches come on the road. From Sept. 14 to the 23rd, the Bison will play Emporia State (9/14), have their GAC opener at SWOSU (9/16), venture to Northwestern (9/19) and visit Ouachita (9/23).

Following that road stretch, the green and gold return to campus. On Sept. 26, the Bison host Harding before a Sept. 30 home match with East Central. Following the matchup with the Tigers, OBU hosts Northwestern on Oct. 7.

There are six regular-season matches remaining after that. On Oct. 10, OBU heads to Bethany to face Southern Nazarene before returning home to face Ouachita on Oct. 14. Three days later, coach White's squad travels to Harding (10/17) before another road match at East Central on Oct. 24.

OBU's final two games are against SWOSU (10/28) and SNU (10/31). That latter matchup with the Crimson Storm will serve as Senior Day for the program.

Should the Bison qualify for the GAC Tournament, the conference's four-team postseason begins on Nov. 6 with the top seed hosting.
