SHAWNEE - The Oklahoma Baptist men's basketball team returns to the Noble Complex this weekend for a pair of huge games beginning on Thursday evening against Southern Nazarene followed by a Saturday afternoon tilt with East Central.
Tip-off is slated for 7:30 p.m. between the rival Bison and Crimson Storm on Thursday inside the Noble Complex while the Bison and Tigers tip things off at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The game will feature coverage on KGFF in Shawnee and live video available on obubison.com with Todd Miller and Scott Wanish.
The Bison come in with a 14-8 record and an 9-7 record in GAC play, currently sitting in fifth place, just one game behind East Central who is tied for third. The Bison come off a roller-coaster weekend of their own, knocking off then-No. 1 Southeastern Oklahoma State on a last second basket from

Jaquan Simms still leads the Bison in scoring with 12.8 points per game while shooting over 40 percent from deep. Simms has struggled recently from the field, but broke out of his slump on Saturday as he scored 17 points on 6 of 9 shooting including five 3-pointers in the loss to SWOSU.
Rashad Lewis checks in with 11.2 points per game to go with nearly 4.0 assists per game. He scored 13 points against the Savage Storm including the game-winning assist to Lowery to finish with six and give the Bison the huge win.
Harrison Stoddart has scored double figures in four straight games including 11 against Southeastern and 15 against Southwestern. He comes in with 11.5 points per game to go with 5.6 rebounds per game. Stoddart is shooting 52 percent from the field.
SNU comes in at 18-6 overall and 12-4 in the GAC, currently all alone in first place. The Crimson Storm have won five games in a row.
