SHAWNEE – Here's our second look at the 2026-27 Bison men's basketball recruiting class brought in by head coach

Devin Brown | Forward | 6-5 | Oklahoma City, OK | Eastern Oklahoma State
A transfer from Eastern Oklahoma State College, he prepped locally at Putnam City North. In his two seasons at Eastern Oklahoma State, Brown played in 62 games, averaged 15.1 points, 9.8 rebounds and shot 42 percent from the field. He also averaged 0.8 blocks per game. Plus, during the most recent season, he reached double-figure scoring totals in 28 of 31 contests with a high of 31 points twice. In the process, he was a two-time All-Region award winner and named National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Player of the Week at one point.
Coach Eaker's thoughts: "Adding and interjecting Devin into our deep and proven group of returners (coming off our Final Four run last March) was a necessity if we wanted to have the talent and experience needed to have those same aspirations in the days ahead. Devin comes to us from an excellent like-minded junior college program in Eastern Oklahoma State and coach Tim Miser. He's tough, athletic, versatile and just a winner. Having led his team, conference, and the state in rebounding is music to our ears and a match in terms of our team's DNA. I'm excited for Bison Fans to get the opportunity very soon to watch Devin compete and consistently make winning plays. His impact will be immediate, and he's got so much more room to keep growing and developing and he is determined to do that."
Chris Mason | Center | 6-6 | Tulsa, OK | Central Arkansas
Mason was a Central Arkansas Sugar Bears player in 2025-26, playing in four games for the D1 program in Conway, AR. Prior to that, he spent time at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M. As a freshman for the Golden Norse, he averaged 12.2 points and 8.5 rebounds and shot an impressive 63 percent from the field. As for his prep career, he played on Victory Christian out of Tulsa, the same program that former Bison
Joshua Udoumoh competed with.
Coach Eaker's thoughts: "Chris was the last addition to this year's team, and he completes, compliments, and will stand out right away on our loaded frontline. Chris can score, pass, defend and rebound with the best. But what we are most excited about is Chris wanted to be a Bison and be an integral piece to our team that once again will pursue championships and a deep run in March. Chris has that rare combination of humility, coachability and a noticeable self confidence in what he can bring to our team and frontline. Our practices and workouts will be even more competitive and fun adding a player of Chris' size, experience and ability."
Dalen Fuller | Guard | 6-4 | Tulsa, OK | Northeastern State
Fuller was a member of Northeastern State in Tahlequah the previous two seasons before venturing to Shawnee. He played in 27 games for the RiverHawks, shot over 70 percent from the foul line and scored as many as 12 points in a game last season. He played high school ball at Union, the same team as junior center
Erik Madrid.
Coach Eaker's thoughts: "Dalen was a late and welcomed addition to our recruiting class after two years playing in our region and for one of the best coaches we've competed against in Ja Havens. Dalen came highly recommended by our own in Big E (
Erik Madrid) going back to their prep Tulsa Union High days. He's long, rangy, ultra-athletic and dynamic on both ends of the floor. What's been most impressive was Dalen's performance and impact on our foreign tour, not only in the games and on the stat sheet but the type of teammate he is. We had several players who could have been voted MVP in Croatia, but Dalen and
Christian Hodge got my vote starting with their hustle, defense and impact on winning. We are thrilled to get the opportunity to work with and be a part of this next chapter of Dalen's journey."
