EDMOND, Okla. – The Oklahoma Baptist men's and women's swim team capped off the 2020 Eagle Invitational adding five more wins on Saturday. The Bison finished the weekend having tallied eight wins and one NCAA qualifier.

OBU opened the evening with a win right out of the gate in the Women's 200 Yard Medley Relay. This was the second win for the team of
Camila Alduenda,
Anna Tindall,
Jamie Edwards, and
Julie Day, having taken the 400 Yard Medley the previous night.
Kaelyn Lance, Alduenda, and Tindall kept the wins rolling in for the Bison as Lance took the 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of 1:56.12 beating out Kayci McKinnon by over a second. Alduenda and Tindall took the 100 Yard Backstroke (59.02) and the 400 Yard IM (4:39.81), respectively.

On the men's side,
William Newman was the big winner in the 100 Yard Fly with a time of 49.46.
"Emotions were high tonight as we got out and raced hard," said Head Coach
Matt Hood. "It was a lot of fun to see our team get hands on the wall first."

The Bison close out the fall segment of their season having compiled 34 wins and two NCAA qualifiers across two competitions.

OBU will return to action in Conway, Arkansas, on Friday, Jan. 9, against Hendrix College.
