Former Bison Pitcher Named to GAC All-Decade Team

SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist alumnus Jinny Parra was named to the Great American Conference's All-Decade team. Parra pitched for the Bison from 2014-17. While at OBU he started all four seasons and was a part of the back-to-back NCCAA World Series champion teams. In his final season he went 10-4 as a starter and finished with a 2.80 ERA.
 
As a Bison, Parra became the all-time winningest pitcher in team history. He also won the Bison Sports Award for Male Athlete of the Year.

At the conference level, he earned First Team honors twice. Parra also was selected as the 2016 GAC Pitcher of the Year as named an NCCAA All-American in 2017.
