Gelphman Signs With Salina Stockade

SHAWNEE – Former Bison infielder Zane Gelphman has signed with the Salina Stockade of the independent Pacific Association.
 
A native of Half Moon Bay, California, Gelphman played two seasons on Bison Hill, earning Second Team All-America honors from the National Christian College Athletic Association as well as Second Team honors from the Great American Conference as a junior while helping the Bison to a second straight NCCAA national title.
 
In his senior campaign in 2018, Gelphman led the GAC with 17 home runs while collecting his second consecutive Second Team All-GAC award and landing on the All-Region Teams for the ABCA, D2CCA and NCBWA.
 
He batted .333 with a team-leading 55 runs batted in and a slugging percentage of .687 during his final season on Bison Hill.
