BENTONVILLE, Ark. – The third-seeded Lady Bison swept their way into the Great American Conference semifinals with a 4-0 victory over No. 6 seed Henderson State Thursday afternoon.

OBU took the doubles point thanks to quick work by the No. 2 tandem of
Madeleine Boepple and
Alex Bowers and No. 3 team of
Stefy Varon and
Tahlia Walsh. Both made short work of their opponents from HSU, winning 6-1. At the No. 1 spot,
Kim Moosbacher and
Ethne Dowling led 5-2 in their match when the doubles point was secured.

The Lady Bison wrapped up the match with straight set singles victories as Nos. 1, 2, and 3.

Moosbacher, the No. 7 Division II singles player in the nation in the latest Oracle/ITA rankings, topped the Reddies' Sydnee Parker 6-1, 6-3. Playing at the No. 2 spot, Dowling was a 6-2, 6-2 winner over Lorish Puluspene. Walsh secured the team victory with a 6-1, 6-2 win against HSU's Lauren Miller.

The Lady Bison advance to tomorrow's conference semifinals where they will face off against second-seeded Harding at 2 p.m. OBU defeated the Bisons in a hard-fought 4-3 decision in Searcy on April 12.
