Women Drop Matches on Road

KEARNEY, Neb. -- Oklahoma Baptist began its road-trip facing Nebraska-Kearney Thursday morning. OBU fell 6-1 in a match that was missing Tahlia Walsh (injury) and Madeleine Boepple (illness). OBU is now 3-7.
 
Kim Moosbacher won her match at the No. 1 slot 6-4, 4-6, 10-4 where she is now 8-1. She was the only Lady Bison to pick up a win. Freshman Landrey Johnson got to see her first action of her Oklahoma Baptist career with the absences of Walsh and Boepple as she appeared at the No. 6 slot.
 
Oklahoma Baptist will have a day off before taking to Missouri where they will face Northwest Missouri Saturday, March 9. Northwest Missouri St. is 2-2 as of Thursday, including a 5-2 loss to Drury. Oklahoma Baptist lost to Drury 4-3.
