Tennis Team Wins Pair at UAFS

FORT SMITH, Ark. -- Oklahoma Baptist added to its tennis win streak beating Arkansas Fort Smith. The men, winners of three straight, defeated UAFS 7-0 while the women won for the third time in four matches, 6-1.
 
In doubles for the Bison, Kevin Andrusch/Gianlucca Galdi kept on winning at the No. 1 doubles, 6-3. Andres Graterol/Matias Le Fort won as well.

For the women Kim Moosbacher and Ethne Dowling, now 2-1 together, won 6-2 at No. 1 while Madeleine Boepple/Alex Bowers won 6-0 at No. 2.
 
All Bison men saw wins, with Galdi sealing the victory for the Bison with the win. Nick Parker got his first win of the season as OBU posted its first shutout. All but one Lady Bison found wins in singles as not one match went to a third set. Since the Lindenwood match when Boepple was put at the No. 4 singles slot, she is 4-0. Only once in those four wins has a match gone three sets.
 
The men and women will go their separate ways this weekend as the men stay in Shawnee for their home opener against Texas A&M-Texarkana on Friday. The OBU women take to San Angelo, Texas to face St. Edward's and Angelo State Friday and Saturday.
