NORMAN, Okla. – The Oklahoma Baptist men's and women's tennis found their second win of the season defeating Kansas Wesleyan 5-2 and 7-0, respectively.
Both Bison teams won doubles, including a narrow 7-6 doubles victory from Andres Graterol and Matias Le-Fort. The women won each of their doubles matches 6-1 as KSU had to forfeit the third doubles match.
Both squads were dominant in singles. The men's singles victories all came in straight sets and with the exception of
Gianlucca Galdi's 7-5 second set win. Every set was 6-2 or better on the side of the Bison. The women dominated giving up two games four singles matches and
Alex Bowers and
Madeleine Boepple having 6-0, 6-0 wins.
Next up for Oklahoma Baptist is the University of Arkansas Fort Smith on Monday, Feb. 26. The match will be played in Fort Smith, in the first of three Arkansas trips for OBU.
