SHAWNEE -- Both the Oklahoma Baptist men and women's tennis teams play for their first wins of the 2019 season when the pair travel to Missouri to face Lindenwood and Drury. The Drury matchup is Friday while Lindenwood follows on Saturday. Both duals will be in Springfield, Mo.
On the women's side, OBU looking to avenge last year's 5-4 loss to Drury and continue its dominance over Lindenwood, a team they beat 9-0 in 2018.
OBU's
Kim Moosbacher and
Alex Bowers are unbeaten in their first two singles matches this year owning wins over Washburn and Metro State-Denver.
The OBU men will look to snap a five-match losing streak against Drury. OBU's
Gianlucca Galdi, a returner this year, picked up the only win in an 8-1 loss to the Panthers a year ago.
OBU beat Lindenwood 5-4 in 2018 with Galdi and
Matias Le Fort each picking up wins in singles and doubles to carry the Bison.
