OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma Baptist dropped both of its tennis matches to Washburn Saturday at the Oklahoma City Tennis Center. The men were beaten 6-1 while the women lost 5-2. Both teams are 0-2 after two matches.
On the men's side, the No. 1 doubles team of Gianlucca Galdi and Kevin Andrusch won OBU's lone victory 7-6 (7-3). Andres Graterol and Matias Le Fort nearly secured an additional point but fell short 7-5 in the No. 2 Doubles.
Matias Le Fort claimed the only singles win at the No. 4 slot with a 7-6 (7-5), 6-2.
For the women, OBU won one and two singles as Kim Moosbacher and Alex Bowers stayed unbeaten. Tahlia Walsh lost a heartbreaker at number four letting a third-set tiebreaker slip away, 7-4.
Both OBU teams will next be in action Feb. 15-16 against Drury and Lindenwood in Springfield, Mo.
