Bison Recognized in First ITA Rankings

TEMPE, Ariz. - The preseason Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings came out to conclude the fall season as Oklahoma Baptist had four different players earn regional rankings individually including a pair on the national rankings.

On the women's side, Kim Moosbacher backs up her dominant tournament run by being ranked preseason number one in the Central Region and ninth in the country. Moosbacher's last tournament title was at ITA Regionals where she came in as the two seed and left the champion. Mooshbacher won all four singles titles she competed in this fall. On the doubles side, Moosbacher comes in seventh with partner Ethne Dowling.

Flipping to the men's, Bruno Suiama ranks third in the Central Region and 22nd in the nation as he finished his offseason tournament play with a semifinal bid at Regionals. Teammate Gianlucca Galdi also found his way into the regional rankings, coming in at 18th. Galdi's best finish in tournament play was a doubles consolation title with Suiama at the GAC Tournament.

OBU will return to the court this spring as they look to make a splash during the 2020 regular season.
