KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Ruth King,
Hannah White, and
Kelsey Bumgarner all placed on the United Soccer Coaches' second or third team. The awards were announced Monday night by the USC.
King, a Shawnee native, was named USC Second Team All-Central after the forward led OBU with 22 points on eight goals and six assists. She scored multiple goals in two matches, including a hat trick against Southern Nazarene on Sept. 28 that earned her Great American Conference Player of the Week honors. She was also named to the First Team All-GAC and Second Team D2 All-Central Region teams. King ended her season as the all-time leading scorer in Bison history.
White, a native of Norman, also earned USC Second Team All-Central honors as a midfielder. She scored four goals and added three assists, including two goals against East Central in the penultimate match of the regular season. She was also named to the All-GAC First Team and D2 All-Central Region First Team.
Bumgarner, a defender from Mustang, claimed Third Team distinction. Bumgarner was a part of seven clean sheets this season, and also chipped in offensively with a goal and an assist. She was also named First Team All-GAC.
