SHAWNEE – Hot off an 11-0 drubbing of Southern Nazarene to open Great American Conference play, the Oklahoma Baptist women's soccer team will take their show on the road to face Ouachita Baptist and Harding. The Bison will first take on Ouachita Baptist on Thursday, Oct. 3 at 1 p.m. in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, before squaring off with Harding on Saturday, Oct. 5 at 11 a.m. in Searcy.
Oklahoma Baptist enters the week with a 3-3-1 overall record, as well as a 1-0 mark in league play. The Bison are unbeaten in their last 25 GAC contests dating back to 2017.
Boasting one of the top-ranked offenses in the Great American Conference, the Bison are averaging 2.57 goals/match on 24.14 shots. Displaying a connected style of play, of OBU's 15 goals from the run of play, 87 percent of their goals have come off an assist; three other goals were scored from the penalty spot.

Reagan Mann both rank in the top three in the league in goals with four apiece.

Kelsi Mensen have scored three and two goals, respectively, and also rank in the top 10 in the category.
The Bison defense, posting back-to-back clean sheets, is tied for first in the GAC with eight goals allowed this season.
Emily Griffith leads the league with a 1.11 goals-against average while averaging 4.43 saves/match to go with a .795 save percentage.
Ouachita enters Thursday's contest with a 2-4 overall record after dropping their conference opener to Harding. The Tigers are averaging 1.00 goals/match, with Ashlynn Heckman accounting for five of Ouachita's six goals this season. Michele Snow is second in the GAC with a 1.32 GAA and tied with Griffith with a matching .795 save percentage.
Harding, carrying a 2-4-1 record overall, is tied with OBU atop the GAC standings with a 1-0 mark in conference play. The Lady Bisons rank sixth in the league with a .86 goals/match average, with Melanie Spurgeon accounting for a team-high three goals. In goal, Jessica Woessner owns a 1.81 GAA and .795 save percentage.
