Lady Bison Golf Unveils 2018 Fall Schedule

SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist women's golf will begin the 2018-19 season on Sept. 4, according to the fall schedule released Wednesday morning.
 
The Lady Bison had four top-five finishes as a team and qualified for the NCAA Super Regional in 2017-18, the first season for OBU as full members of Division II.
 
OBU will once again appear in five fall tournaments, playing four tournaments in Oklahoma and one in Kansas. The Lady Bison will also host a tournament in Shawnee for the first time since 2016.
 
Golfers will tee off for the first time this season in Olathe, Kansas, at the Central Region Preview on Sept. 4-5 at Prairie Highlands. Southwestern Oklahoma State will serve as host for the season-opening tournament.
 
For the fourth straight year, OBU will compete in the NSU Golf Classic, hosted by Northeastern State at Cherokee Springs Golf Club. The annual event is celebrating the 20^th year of the tournament and will be played on Sept. 10-11.
 
Oklahoma Baptist will host the OBU Fall Invitational in Shawnee on Sept. 24-25 at the Shawnee Country Club. Admission is free to spectators during both days of the event.
 
October begins with the Lady Bison heading to Edmond for the UCO RCB Classic, hosted by Central Oklahoma on Oct. 1-2. The competition will take place at The Golf Club of Edmond on that Monday and Tuesday.
 
OBU will wrap up the fall portion of the schedule on Oct. 16-17 at the NCAA Central Region Preview in Muskogee. Northeastern State will host the tournament at Muskogee Golf Club.
 
All tournaments will consist of 36 total holes with one round of 18 holes played on consecutive days unless otherwise stated. The full fall schedule can be found HERE.
