Jake Gozzo earned Great American Conference co-Player of the Week honors, the league announced Monday.

Gozzo, first baseman and right fielder from Redlands, California, batted .667 with four RBI and six runs. He had a double and a home run for a 1.111 slugging percentage. He also drew three walks and had a .750 on-base percentage.

This is Gozzo's first Player of the Week honor and the second for OBU this season.
Brett Bloomfield earned the distinction March 13. OBU also has received Pitcher of the Week honors four times – two by
Mychal Yarbor and one each by
Caleb Bly and
Zach Fowler.
