BENTONVILLE, Ark. – Regular season champion Oklahoma Baptist dominated the postseason women's tennis awards announced by the Great American Conference Thursday night with
Kateryna Shkot taking Player of the Year and
Nick Papac winning Coach of the Year honors.

Shkot,
Alex Bowers and
Kim Moosbacher all earned First Team All-Conference honors with
Madeleine Boepple taking Second Team.
Caroline Abbe and
Alex Bowers achieved Distinguished Scholar honors, which requires a 3.70 grade point average and at least junior status, while also participating at the conference championships.

Papac is in his first year at OBU and guided the Lady Bison through a perfect GAC season for their second regular season title in three years.

Shkot, a senior from Kiev, Ukraine, twice earned GAC Player of the Week honors. She is 12-3 in singles this season, including a 5-0 mark at No. 1 singles. Shkot also has 12 doubles wins, mostly at No. 1 doubles with Moosbacher. That tandem is 11-2.

Bowers, a junior from Duncan, has been honored this season as GAC Player of the Week. She is 13-2 in singles, including a 12-2 mark at No. 4. Bowers also is 12-2 in doubles, chiefly with Abbe at No. 3 doubles where that pair is 11-2

Moosbacher, a sophomore from Cologne, Germany, earned a Player of the Week nod this season. Moosbacher is 10-4 in singles, going 7-4 at No. 1 and 3-1 at No. 2. She is 11-4 in doubles.

Boepple, a junior from Stuttgart, Germany, was named GAC Player of the Week once this season. She leads OBU with a 14-1 mark in singles. She also is 8-7 in doubles and 8-5 with
Tahlia Walsh at No. 2 doubles.

Abbe, a senior from McKinney, Texas, is 8-5 in singles and 11-2 in doubles.
