Bison Knock Off WNMU

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. –Oklahoma Baptist leaves Colorado with a victory over the Western New Mexico Mustangs, 6-3.
 
After the Bison had won five of their last six doubles matches, they found themselves down 2-1 in doubles competition. OBU's Daniel Aguilera and Babji Atturu defeated Western New Mexico's David Valles and Pablo Santibanez got the sole doubles victory at No. 3, 8-5.
 
In singles, Nos. 2-6 got the win for the Bison, giving OBU a 5-1 win in singles matches. All singles victories came in straight sets. Gianlucca Galdi improved his singles record to 8-1 with a 7-6, 7-5 victory over Niko Barr.
 
Oklahoma Baptist has now won six of their last seven matches and are currently on a three match winning streak. Their next contest will be against Division I opponent Fresno State, Monday, in Norman.
