Gibson Signs with Freedom

SHAWNEE – Former Oklahoma Baptist pitcher Tyler Gibson signed an independent pro contract with the Florence Freedom.
 
Located in Florence, Kentucky, the Freedom play in the Frontier League and opens the season April 30.
 
Gibson was 8-3 with a 4.07 earned run average and 79 strikeouts in 77.1 innings for the Bison last season and was the winning pitcher in the NCCAA championship game.
