Yarbor Named Pitcher of the Week

SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist pitcher Mychal Yarbor caught Great American Conference Pitcher of the Week accolades Tuesday, the league announced.
 
Yarbor, a senior from Bandon, Oregon, was 1-0 with a perfect earned run average in a seven-inning outing at Henderson State. He allowed four hits and a walk while striking out seven batters.
 
HSU batted .160 against Yarbor.
 
The award is the first of its kind for Yarbor with OBU. Bison have won the last two Pitcher of the Week honors with Caleb Bly being honored last week.
