LEWISVILLE, Texas – Oklahoma Baptist secured a meet record, two event titles and two automatic national qualifying marks Friday at the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championships.

Celina Marquez set the meet record in winning the 100 backstroke in 53.70 with an automatic qualifying time for nationals.
Suzanne Afchain (54.91) and
Tammy Price (55.97) were second and fourth respectively with B standard marks.
Faith Moss was eighth at 58.70 and
Meili Hall scored in 15
th at 59.35.

OBU went 1-2-3 in the 100 breaststroke with
Marizel Van Jaarsveld wining at 1:02.49, followed by
Juliana Cifuentes at 1:02.73 and
Miriam Avila at 1:04.49 – all B standard national qualifying times.
Leslie White was seventh at 1:05.78,
Victoria Fonville was 11
th at 1:07.29 and
Julie Day placed 12
th at 1:07.82.

Faith Moss was second in the 200 butterfly with a B standard 2:04.85.
Grace Clayton was 12
th at 2:12.70.

Genesis Veliz collected her second automatic qualifying mark of the meet, placing fourth in one-meter diving at 408.65.
Cassidy Wright scored from eighth at 357.30 with
Anna White (12
th, 290.50),
Mikaela Pitsch (14
th, 242.95) and
Leslie White (15
th, 188.55) also scoring in the event.

Van Jaarsveld, Afchain, Cifuentes and Avila placed third in the 800 free relay at 7:36.27.
Jocelyn Martinez, Maddie Carson,
Grace Clayton and
Jamie Edwards finished 11
th in 7:59.64.

th in the 500 freestyle at 5:10.38 with Carson taking 16
th at 5:22.51.

Leslie White finished second in the 100 individual medley in 1:01.85, followed by
Carleigh Sullivan in third at 1:02.04,
Megan Conner in seventh and
Amanda Buckwalter in eighth.
