LEWISVILLE, Texas – Oklahoma Baptist established two Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference meet records in the 200 medley relay and individual medley.
Marizel Van Jaarsveld won the 200 individual medley for the first Lady Bison victory in the pool, winning with a time of 2:01.50. OBU scored 52 points in the event with
Juliana Cifuentes getting fourth with a B standard 2:04.46.
Miriam Avila was seventh at 2:06.84 and
Suzanne Afchain was 12
th at 2:09.08.

Van Jaarsveld set the RMAC record in the prelims at 2:00.88. That mark represents the third-fastest time in the event in NCAA Division II this year.

Leslie White,
Celina Marquez and
Victoria Fonville won the 200 medley relay in a record 1:42.37. It was the fourth-fastest time in the event nationally this season. A second team of
Meili Hall, Cifuentes,
Faith Moss and
Julie Day scored 30 points in fourth place.

Price was second in the 50-meter freestyle at 23.06, followed by Fonville in third at 23.08 and Day in fourth at 23.66.
Jamie Edwards scored from 13
th place at 24.34.

Jocelyn Martinez was 14
th (10:56.64) and Maddie Carson 15
th (10:59.34) in the 1,000 free, getting OBU five points in the event.
